These terms of use govern quickmaps.io and the Quick Maps plugin. Quick Maps is free software, released under the GNU General Public License v2 or later.

License

You may use, modify, and redistribute the plugin under the GPL’s terms. The official distribution channel is the WordPress.org plugin directory. Builds obtained elsewhere, however, are not verified by us.

No warranty

The plugin is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, as stated in the GPL. Therefore the author is not liable for damages arising from its use.

Google Maps

Maps are rendered by Google. As a result, your use of embedded Google Maps is subject to Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service. Quick Maps is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

Quick Maps Pro

Our Pro add-on extends the free plugin. One license covers one, five, or twenty-five sites for a year, and it includes updates and priority support for that year. Licenses then renew annually. However, you can cancel a renewal at any time from your account.

Buying Pro does not transfer ownership of the software. Install it on as many sites as your tier allows, and no more. If you change your mind, our refund policy gives you thirty days.

Acceptable use

Do not resell Pro as your own product. You may not use this site to distribute malware, and you may not attempt to disrupt its services. If a license breaks these rules, then we may suspend it.

Scope of these terms of use

These terms of use cover this website and the plugin. Google, meanwhile, governs the maps themselves. Everything else depends on your own host, theme, and browser. For details on what we collect, read our privacy policy.
