This site is the home of the Quick Maps WordPress plugin. We keep data collection to the minimum a website can have.

What this site collects

Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) kept for security and debugging, rotated automatically. No advertising trackers, no analytics beyond aggregate, cookie-less counts, no sale of data — there is nothing to sell.

Embedded maps

Pages on this site demonstrate the plugin with live Google Maps embeds. When a map scrolls into view, your browser loads content from google.com, and Google may set cookies under its own privacy policy. The same applies to any site using the plugin: the map iframe is served by Google, and no map data passes through this site or the plugin author.

The plugin itself

The Quick Maps plugin collects nothing. It has no telemetry, no phone-home, no account system. The only network request it causes is the visitor’s browser fetching the map from Google.
